Reinforced perforation of the canvas

Used at the outer lower edge of the tent canvas to fasten the tent to the ground with poles.

(Alternative: Weigh down with heavy rocks)

The holes in the canvas are made with a hammer and gouge.

Put a "ring" of hemp rope around the hole and sew it into the canvas with a needle and thread.
