In ash, pine or oak.

Rope

Rope of hemp, 6mm thick.

Sewing thread

Waxed sewing thread + needle.


Lock wedges (sprints)

For the tent poles (for locking), about 100mm long.

8 pieces of iron or wooden wedges.


Tent poles

To anchor the tent in the ground.

5 on each long side
3 on one short side
2 on the other short side, on the side with the tent opening.

You may want to make a few extra tent poles to keep in spare should any of them break.


"Lock buttons" for the tent opening

(for the duffel buttoning)

On both the inside and outside, made from horn or juniper wood.


About 50 mm long, drill holes to attach to the canvas.


Alternate buttoning of tent canvas

The loops must not be longer than reaching down to the next loop.
